Jane Park, MPH

M. Jane Park, MPH has served as the NAHIC Project Coordinator since 1999. As Coordinator for the Resource Center and Research Network, Ms. Park manages the daily activities for both projects, assists with the development of project resources and coordinates with partners. Ms. Park has co-authored 18 articles in the peer-review literature on trends in health indicators, and health care access, utilization and content of care for adolescents and young adults. She has also co-authored several NAHIC briefs addressing the Affordable Care Act, males and mental health and other topics. Before joining UCSF, Ms. Park worked for Sociometrics Corporation on projects related to evaluating and replicating effective teen pregnancy prevention. Prior to that, Ms. Park wrote a quarterly newsletter examining state and federal maternal and child health policy at the Center for Health Policy Research, the George Washington University Medical Center. Ms. Park also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guinea, West Africa. Ms. Park received her Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and an B.A. degree from Tufts University in International Relations.
