Lauren Twietmeyer, MPH
Lauren Twietmeyer, MPH serves as Project Associate for Adolescent and Young Adult Health National Resource Center. She graduated from U.C. Davis with a Master of Public Health this past September. During her program, she completed a practicum project at the California Department of Public Health where she developed statewide recommendations for a pharmacy-based intervention aimed at reducing the unintended pregnancy rate among vulnerable populations. Lauren also gained professional experience at various non-profit and college health centers that serve adolescents and young adults, including Advocates for Youth and Planned Parenthood Mar Monte. In her current role with the Resource Center, Lauren will help create Center resources, through background research and drafting products, in collaboration with the Center’s UCSF team and partners.
