This monograph covers a range of topics, including demographics, the health care system, mortality, unintentional injury, violence, suicide, mental health, substance use, reproductive health, physical activity, nutrition and obesity, as well as risky behavior among special populations and multiple risk-taking. It also covers major data sources that monitor adolescent health and includes figures that show the groups of adolescents most affected by health issues.
