In collaboration with the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research, NAHIC has developed a public health profile of California adolescents ages 12-17 years. The report is based on data from the 2001 California Health Interview Survey.

California’s first statewide strategic plan for adolescent health was jointly released by NAHIC and the California Adolescent Health Collaborative.

NAHIC staff have been working closely with the National Network of State Adolescent Health Coordinators (formerly known as the State Adolescent Health Coordinators Network), the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs (AMCHP), CDC’s Division of Adolescent and School Health, the State Adolescent Health Resource Center (SAHRC, of the Konopka Institute for Best Practices in Adolescent Health), the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB), and other partners to increase the capacity of State Adolescent Health programs.
