Research Priorities in Adolescent Health: An Analysis & Synthesis of Research Recommendations (2000)

This document reviews national reports on adolescent health published over the past decade and provides a collective assessment of the state-of-the-art science, and articulates a national research agenda for adolescent health. The report delineates the critical research questions in adolescent health and the strategies for addressing these questions in terms of appropriate research methods, tools, skills and resources. The conclusion presents cross-cutting themes in the research recommendations and makes the case for a much-needed national research agenda for adolescent health. NAHIC faculty will present key findings from this document at national workshops and conferences, which will provide an opportunity for sharing critical information on the most important areas of research. Findings from the research document will be widely disseminated to key public and private research institutes to help inform their research agendas. The document is available as an Executive Summary or Full Report.
