Strategic Plan for Adolescent Health for the State of California
With support from the California Department of Health Services, NAHIC published a strategic plan for adolescent health in the state of California in conjunction with the California Adolescent Health Collaborative, a statewide public/private partnership. Entitled Investing in Adolescent Health: A Social Imperative for California’s Future, the plan’s purpose is to ensure that adolescents ages 10-19 have access to a comprehensive array of quality health services through an integrated system of preventive and primary care. It provides a policy framework for state and local decision-makers, and serves as a benchmark for measuring progress toward meeting the nation’s adolescent health objectives.
