Led by Matt Aalsma, PhD, Indiana University, the AYAH-RN will conduct an exploratory study to implement a parenting intervention in the primary care setting. The study will test screening measures in areas such as adolescent communication, monitoring, and conflict.
Dr. Aalsma presented a poster at the 2018 Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine on the parent intervention project that piloted a parent screening tool and assessed parents’ perspectives on interventions in the primary care setting, including priority topics.
