Research Priorities in Adolescent Health: An Analysis & Synthesis of Research Recommendations

NAHIC researchers led a review of national reports on adolescent health published over the past decade and created report that serves as a collective assessment of the state-of-the-art science and a resulting national research agenda for adolescent health. Published in 2000, this report remains one of the sites most “popular” downloads.

The report presents the following:

  • critical research questions in adolescent health
  • strategies for addressing these questions, in terms of appropriate research methods, tools, skills and resources
  • synthesis of cross-cutting themes in the research recommendations and
  • a case for a national research agenda for adolescent health.
