Investigating links between economic and educational experiences and cardiometabolic health in emerging adult college students at Hispanic-serving Institutions

Drs Lindsay Till Hoyt and Alison Cohen are conducting an NIH-funded R01 study entitled “The 3E Study: Economic and Educational Contributions to Emerging Adult Cardiometabolic Health” to understand links between economic experiences, educational experiences, and cardiometabolic health among emerging adult (ages 18-24) college students at two Hispanic-Serving Institutions in California (California State University, East Bay and UC Riverside). The investigators leveraged AYAH-RN support for collection of digital phenotyping data allowing the investigators to examine the mechanisms linking socioeconomic trajectories and cardiovascular health.
